If you are seriously injured, get to the hospital as soon as possible.  But if you are not seriously injured, try to regain your composure and take as many of the following steps as possible:

- Collect the contact information of witnesses.
- Take pictures of the wreck with your cell phone or camera.
- Take pictures of road conditions to document weather or other hazards.
