On March 17, 2009, Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink
announced the launch of "Sunshine Spending," a Web site that allows public searching for vendors and
other recipients of Florida funds by using the first part of the vendor's name. The site will
be updated nightly and lists payment totals to a vendor for each fiscal year, beginning with 2004,
