Rapper and Wife Released After Los Angeles Drug Arrest

September 3, 2010-According to reports Rapper T.I. and his wife have been released after a Los Angeles drug arrest Wednesday night.

T.I. and his wife Tameka Cottle were arrested Wednesday night after a police stop, where police stated they smelled marijuana coming from the car.

The stop occurred on Sunset Boulevard at approximately 10:00 p.m. for making an illegal U-turn. After police smelled the marijuana a search of the vehicle resulted in the couple being charged with possession of a controlled substance.

There have been some allegations that there was a small amount of ecstasy found in the vehicle that is still being tested.
The couple was released from the local Sheriff’s Station after posting 10,000 bail at approximately 4:00 a.m.
