22.03.2012 – Conference “Tax and IP” in Frankfurt / Germany
Intangible assets as a decisive part of cutting-edge tax strategies
The international WCLF Conference “Tax and IP” will concentrate on the possibilities
of advantageous tax solutions when creating and assigning intellectual property rights. Two panel
discussions with high-profile tax and IP experts illustrate current options as well as mid- and long
term perspectives of the internationalisation of intellectual property. Eight workshops look deeper
into the specific questions involved, e.g. the choice of international IP locations, the assessment
of immaterial goods, the determination of transfer prices, international licensing agreements,
questions of transfer of functions and aspects of double taxation.
The conference proceedings
will contain contributions of tax and IP experts from important international IP locations and
summarize the legal and tax conditions of their home jurisdictions.
The conference is
designed mainly for patent and tax lawyers as well as in-house counsels in enterprises operating
internationally and holding substantial intellectual property rights.
As for German lawyers, the conference qualifies as an official training course according to Art. 15 of the German FAO.
