Can I be arrested for non-payment of a payday loan in DFW, TX?

More details to this question:
I am being harrassed by a company in Ontario threatening legal action for a payday loan I was unable to pay back in 2009. They state that they will have me arrested on charges of check fraud if I do not pay them within 24 hours. When I requested documentation proving up the debt, they sent me a Word document just with their logo and a letter stating how much they want from me. I asked them for more information, proof of what the exorbant amount of fees were for (the loan was $300.00 but they won''t settle for less than $2100.00+) and proof of their right to collect the debt for the original debtor, but they state they are not obligated to present this evidence except in court. Can they actually have me arrested?
