"The Hispanic market is one of the fastest growing demographic audiences in the U.S. and, by 2020, Hispanics are projected to represent 21 percent of the total U.S. population," said Joseph Douress, vice president of business development and marketing for New Providence, N.J.-based LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. "This is an important audience for our customers because 51 percent of U.S. Hispanic households are online and they spend more time on the Web each day than the general marketplace of Internet users."

The agreement is the latest innovative Web collaboration between lawyers.com and MSN. Lawyers.com is Martindale-Hubbell's Web site for the general public and small business owners, and features a database of more than 440,000 lawyers and law firms nationwide. MSN attracts an audience of more than 84 million unique users in the U.S. each month. Previous agreements have included a wide range of linking arrangements on MSN's Search, Yellow Pages, the former Learning & Research (now MSN Encarta®), MSNBC and Microsoft® Small Business Center sections.
